There are currently 4 TL Chapters at 4 universities (UC Berkeley, UCLA, UCSB, UCSC). Hundreds of students participate in thought lounges (a small group dialogue format created by Axel Cramer) at each chapter. We plan to expand across the country in the next year. Our private donors are mainly based in San Diego.

Mission

Thought Lounge Organization works to foster open dialogue, keep love of learning fresh, and encourage people to confront uncertainty with a focus on making innovative connections between ideas. TLO aims to establish TL Chapters around the world, primarily on university campuses, by providing them with the systems and services needed to ensure that every TL Chapter is sustainable and delivers a quality experience for its participants.
